Briscoe
Briscoe through the years....
Goodbye you big, furry goof...you will be sorely missed
Oct 14, 2003 - Jul 13, 2014
No more tug of war with the purple toy
No more chewing (and devouring) the nylabone
No more carrying around the tennis bone toy
No more chasing bunnies, squirrels and chipmunks from window to window
No more hanging out in Fort Awesome (under Bill's desk)
No more petting from Danny while watching tv
No more coat brushing from Mary
No more frozen broccoli stems at lunch
No more walks in the neighborhood
No more rides in the car
No more wagging your tail while kids pet you
No more barking every time the doorbell rings; Halloween won't be the same
No more keeping a close eye on that darn vacuum that's on
No more moaning/talking at odd sounds
No more persistently showing up at exactly 5 o'clock for your dinner
No more greeting us with a wagging tail when we return from errands
No more cheese flavored pup corn treats
No more milk bones & Pedigree dog food with basically a picture of you on the package
No more jumping up and catching food tossed your way
No more "scooby treats"
No more jumping and spinning in circles while watching horses, dogs and other animals on tv
And...no more pain, needles, IVs, doctors, oxygen chambers or pet hospitals.
You can now run, chase, wag, roll, shake and bark as much as you want.
We had many nicknames for you - buddy, puppy, dogbert, big dog, Scooby dog, barky, furry creature, furry meatball, goofy boy, goof ball......however, there will only be one of you. Not the fastest, biggest or even smartest of dogs...but you were just right for us. You will always be in our hearts and memories and you will always remain a part of our family. Goodbye Briscoe.
